LATEST: Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled his European tour to receive treatment for a nervous tremour - although it has been confirmed the rocker is not suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
The former Black Sabbath frontman has been seeking doctor's advice on the persistent shaking he has suffered for the past few years.
But, although medical experts have allayed fears he is suffering from the degenerative condition, Ozzy has to undergo treatment which will adversely affect his voice - so has been forced to cancel his planned European tour.
Reality-TV star Ozzy says, "(The shaking had become) markedly worse over the last two years.
"I was at the point where it felt as if this problem was practically destroying my life along with my self-esteem,"
Osbourne's doctor ALLAN ROPPER, says Ozzy's tremor is "coming under control with medication".
"Unfortunately, one of the side effects of the medication is dry mouth, which greatly impairs the voice.
"This problem usually subsides after three to four weeks, but the downside is that this will definitely affect Mr. Osbourne's ability to sing at this time."15/10/2003 13:41
