Rocker Ozzy Osbourne often battles his wife SHARON over who saved whose life during their marital history of drug and alcohol abuse and cancer.
The Black Sabbath frontman, who met his childhood sweetheart when she was just 17, insists the TV star saved him from near death by banning drugs from their home, while she hails her husband a hero for carrying her to the hospital when she had collapsed from punishing cancer treatments.
He says, "Sharon saved my life but she says I saved her life.
"We were good for each other. We worked our socks off.
"She saved my life because she said to me, 'Don't you ever bring drugs into the house. If you do I will call the police and I'll get you busted.'
"But I also saved her life too. When she had cancer, I realised she was allergic to opiates, which meant she couldn't have any heavy-duty medication.
"The doctors had to give her something else that works on the same brain receptors.
"I know all about these brain things; I could get a degree in chemistry with everything I've taken in my life."
