Shock-rocker Ozzy Osbourne is happy to be an object of ridicule - as long as he's making people laugh.

The former Black Sabbath frontman has become a cult figure following the massive success of The Osbournes, the MTV reality show about his wacky family's life in California.

But, whilst son Jack worries that his dad may provide entertainment for the wrong reason, Osbourne is simply happy he's entertaining the public.

He explains, "Jack asked me, 'Dad, do you think people think are laughing with you or at you?' I said, 'Son, as long as they're laughing I don't give a f***.'

"I'm in the entertainment business. If they're laughing at me, great, at least they're not crying."
