Rocker Ozzy Osbourne was completely "miserable" when he was out of his mind on drink and drugs - because his behaviour was so bad he was the only person not invited to wife Sharon's parties.
The Black Sabbath legend famously battled a chronic addiction to drugs and booze during his 1980s heyday, and notoriously once tried to strangle Sharon after a particularly bad binge.
But despite being high for years, Osbourne admits he was thoroughly depressed because no one wanted to be around him - especially his talent show judge wife.
He tells Kerrang! magazine, "If a cat's got nine lives then I've used all of those. I've used all of your lives as well. And a lot of other people's lives too.
"When I couldn't stop drinking. Alcoholism is ruthless. I could not stop drinking. Sharon would have parties and I'd have to be the only one not invited. At the end of the day I was a miserable f**king a**ehole."
