Rolling Stones To Release New Film Crossfire Hurricane


Rolling Stones Bill Wyman Brett Morgen Brian Jones Charlie Watts Journey Keith Richards Mick Jagger Mick Taylor Outsiders Ronnie Wood

The Rolling Stones are to release a new documentary film called 'Crossfire Hurricane'.

The 'Paint it Black' group's incredible adventures from key periods in their career will be shown in the movie right from the early 1960s when they were blues-obsessed teenagers to the release of 1972's seminal 'Exile On Main Street' and up to the present day.

Band members Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will provide commentaries throughout the film - which will receive a theatrical release in selected cinemas around the UK in October - as will former Stones Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman, who was in the band from 1962 to 1993.

Frankenweenie To Open Bfi London Film Festival

Tim Burton's 'Frankenweenie' is to open this year's BFI London Film Festival.

The European premiere of the Disney comedy animation film - which features the voices of Christopher Lee, Winona Ryder and Martin Landau - will open the spectacle on October 10, and for the first time at the festival the screening will be shown at London's Leicester Square, the BFI Imax and 30 screens in the UK.

Clare Stewart, BFI Head of Exhibition, said the movie was a ''perfect choice'' to open the festival and she is delighted that the festival - which is to run from October 10 to October 21 - is also hosting the 'The Art of Frankenweenie' Exhibition from October 17-21.

Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding reportedly felt like ''Outsiders'' at the Girls Aloud reunion talks.

The British girl band - also consisting of Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - recently met as a five-piece for the first time since 2009 and things were initially frosty as Nadine and Sarah didn't feel part of the group.

A source told heat magazine: ''At first it was very frosty and awkward - particularly for Nadine, who hasn't seen most of the girls for over a year and has rarely called them.

Rob Lowe once had a fight with Tom Cruise on a film set.

The 'West Wing' star - who was a member of the acting 'Brat Pack' in the 1980s - was rehearsing a fight scene with the actor and accidentally hit Tom For Real, leading to his co-star to retaliate with such force that they had to be pulled apart.

Rob - who appeared in the 1983 movie 'The Outsiders' with the Hollywood star - said: "We all beat the living s**t out of one another. We really did. I got one clean shot on Tom, and Tom is such a competitive lunatic - which is what I love about him - but the next thing you know he's ready to kill me!

The 'Na Na Na' rockers reckon the fact guitar-based music isn't charting very highly at present makes it "dangerous", as it the people who do listen to it become Outsiders.

Guitarist Ray Toro told NME magazine: "Rock's in bad shape. It's not cool to like rock music these days, and I think that's really cool. It gives danger back to it.

Kirsten Dunst has been named as the new face of Bulgari's new women's fragrance.

The 'Marie Antoinette' star will make a guest appearance at the launch of the Mon Jasmin Noir scent at a Mediterranean Eden themed party during Milan Fashion Week later this month.

In addition to launching the perfume, the party will also preview the Italian fashion house's new collection of 2011-2012 accessories.

Robert De Niro is to be given a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes 2011.

The veteran actor will be given the Cecile B. DeMille award in recognition of his career, which has spanned almost 50 years and seen him appear in over 70 films , at the ceremony on January 16 next year.

Fellow actor Kevin Spacey announced that Robert will receive the award - his first Golden Globe win - in Los Angeles this evening (09.10.10).
