Boxer Oscar De La Hoya is set to turn his boxing quickstep into dance moves after signing on to star in the next season of US TV show Dancing With The Stars.
After watching fellow boxers Evander Holyfield and Laila Ali tackle foxtrots and tangos on the TV contest, De La Hoya wants to show off his skills.
And he has hinted he'll retire from boxing after tomorrow night's (05May07) big fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr, so he can train to become a dancing star.
He says, "I'm getting ready for Dancing With The Stars. Once I retire from boxing (I'll do it)."
The Californian rockers were defiant in their intention to play the venue once again.
