The lads of One Direction showed their support for band mate Louis Tomlinson as he strutted his stuff in a charity football match, The Daily Mail reports.

Harry Styles, 18, Liam Payne, 19, and Niall Horan, 19, cheered their 20-year-old band mate along on Monday, as his team Three Horseshoes took on Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium. Harry, Liam and Niall journeyed up north to see their pal shine as he made his best efforts to raise cash for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. However, while Louis' girlfriend Eleanor Calder and their stylist Lou Teasdale were also in the crowd, fifth 1D member Zayn Malik was not. This was noticed quickly by fans and commented upon many times on Twitter, however as yet, he has offered no explanation for his absence. Louis thanked his other pals for coming to support him and tweeted: "So so lovely to have the boys there thank you so much @Real_Liam_Payne @Harry_Styles and @NiallOfficial for being there !!!" adding "Can't thank everyone enough for coming! Was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life !"

Niall Horan was all chat online too and tweeted his followers saying: "Here we go! The big day! Three horse shoes V doncaster rovers 11! Cmon the tommo @Louis_Tomlinson" He later praised his pal saying: "What a great evenin at the keepmoat stadium to watch @Louis_Tomlinson and the shoes , cmon the shoes 2-1 ! Wohoo! So proud of the tommo!" Liam was slightly more reserved about the whole thing and wrote: "Brilliant game , really enjoyed tonight".
