The One Direction boys will have a new album out in time for Christmas, and they're calling it 'Midnight Memories.'
One Direction have had a busy year so far this year; touring the world, releasing their first movie and enjoying life as the world's biggest boyband, but that hasn't stopped the boys from slowing down with their output by any means. The 'Best Song Ever' hit-makers have also been in the studio working on their third album together, and today (6 September) the group announced the first set of details surrounding their next LP.
One Direction have a new album coming out later this year.
Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will be back with the album Midnight Memories later this year, with their latest smash-hit single 'Best Song Ever' making the cut onto the album too. Midnight Memories will be released officially on 25 November, but will be available to pre-order way before then, with pre-order being made available this Monday, 9 September.
The former X Factor finalists will no doubt further cement their reputation as pop's most bankable boyband when they release the album, having already notched up a remarkable 32 million album sales so far with their first two releases, Up All Night and Take Me Home. The album release will also cap off a thoroughly eventful and successful 2013, in which they've played over 100 live shows across 21 different countries on their first ever world tour. They also performed the official Red Nose Day charity single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)' and scored a number of awards, most notably the BRIT award for Global Success and the Song of the Summer award at last month's MTV VMAs for 'Best Song Ever.' The band have also found success in the movie world too, with their screen debut; One Direction: This Is Us, topping both the UK and US box office charts on their debut weeks.
Following the release of Midnight Memories, 1D have also announced the details for the first leg of a huge worldwide stadium tour set to take place over the course of 2014, including two nights at London's Wembley Stadium. Full details are available on the band's official website.
The 1D boys will release Midnight Memories on 25 November.
The single 'Best Song Ever' will appear on the album.
