One Direction have been taking the U.S. by storm in scenes not witnessed on those shores since The Beatles stepped foot in the so-called land of freedom in the 1960s. Ok that might be a bit of an exaggeration but there's no denying they've made quite the splash in the country, and fever pitch heightened further when the boys made their first televised U.S. appearance on the 'Today' show, according to MTV news.
The boy band played New York's Rockefeller Plaza and performed three songs to an audience of screaming girls, 'You Don't Know You're Beautiful,' ''One Thing' and 'More Than This.' Their album 'Up All Night' is set for release this Thursday in the US though the lads insisted they were just enjoying the moment and not looking to see how it would set them up for future success. We be their label are too. "We don't really have a plan," Louis Tomlinson said. "We're just going to keep doing what we're doing and see what happens."
