Following the success of One Direction 's debut album Up All Night, the band have announced that the title of their next album will be Take Me Home. The news was announced by band member Louis Tomlinson, via Twitter. The singer tweeted earlier today (August 29, 2012) to say "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called "take me home" can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! ?takemehome?." Presumably, Louis volunteered to break the news, as Zayn deleted his Twitter account a few days ago after receiving too much abuse.
Last week, the boy band had announced that the first track to be released from their sophomore album will be Live While We're Young.' The single is scheduled for release on September 30, 2012 and has already become the fastest-selling pre-ordered single in history. The album is expected to get a November release. One Direction have worked with a number of different producers for this album, including Ed Sheeran. They've spent much of the last year touring the United States, as well as Australia and have found success Stateside, where they've been selected to perform at MTV's Video Music Awards
The band's debut album reached number one in 17 countries and the band will be looking to improve on that success with their second effort. They have already become the first UK band to get a number one album in the Usa with their first album and if their current popularity continues to snowball, it looks as though more record-breaking is in store for the five British lads.
