Pregnant Olivia Wilde Reveals Baby's Due Date And Gender At 2014 Golden Globes
Olivia Wilde, who is expecting her first child with Jason Sudeikis, quotes 'Star Wars' when revealing the due date in an effort to not forget it.
Olivia Wilde is pregnant with her and fiancé Jason Sudeikis's first child together.
The 29 year-old was on the red carpet at the 71st annual Golden Globes, Sunday night (Jan 12th), when she revealed the gender of the baby.
They are having a boy! When speaking to People magazine after the award show, she said, "He was kicking the whole time, going, 'Where are we?!'"
Wilde sported a full-body length glittering green Gucci gown, which was purposely picked to show off her baby bump.
"Until about a week ago, I just looked fat!" she admits. "I wanted to be like, 'I'm not fat, I'm pregnant!'"
The 'Rush' actress also revealed the due date of her son by quoting 'Star Wars' as a method to remember it.
"May the fourth be with you," Wilde wittily quipped to E!'s Ryan Seacrest on Sunday's red carpet, for anyone confused the baby is due on May 4th.
She also jokingly revealed one of the perks of pregnancy, "It's great," Wilde said. "I've never had boobs before."
While getting ready for the ceremony, filled with Hollywood's A-list stars, the 'Her' actress tweeted, "Hoping one of the GG organizers is also 6 mos preggo and in charge of placing a porta-a-potty on stage. #fingerscrossed #legscrossed."
News first broke of Olivia's pregnancy this past October (2013), with a source close to her and Sudeikis stating, "They are incredibly happy, they're very excited to welcome a new member into their family."
The actress also told Marie Claire in its April issue that she can't wait to start a family, as she stated "I'm open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party." Adding, "[Jason] is so good with kids ... I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, 'That's who I want to raise a child with.'"
Congratulations to the happy couple.
