Olivia Wilde had her doubts about finding love with Jason Sudeikis as she feared she wasn't "beautiful enough" for the funnyman.

The Tron: Legacy star met Sudeikis for the first time on the set of U.S. Tv show Saturday Night Live in 2011 but the pair didn't begin dating until six months later.

However, Wilde admits she thought she didn't stand a chance with Sudeikis.

She tells America's Marie Claire magazine, "I thought, 'He won't be interested in me; I'm not a contender.' He was so cool, so funny – I was such a fan of his and had always fancied his speed and his intelligence. He's a brilliant actor with a brain like lightning. I thought 'I'm not beautiful enough or his type.' I couldn't wait to sit down and hear him talk."

The couple announced its engagement earlier this year (13), and Wilde insists she can't wait to settle down and start a family with her fiance.

She gushes, "I'm open-minded about how many (children), but three, which I love, is like a little party. I am not trying to have kids now - there's no strict plan for anything in my life. What happens, happens. He's so good with kids... I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, 'That's who I want to raise a child with.'"
