The actor was able to see the funny side of his short-lived relationship with Perry as he revived The Russell Brand Show for U.K. rock radio station Xfm with Gallagher and co-hosts Matt Morgan and Trevor Lock.
Brand became the butt of all jokes as his pals admitted making guesses about how long the union would last, with Gallagher insisting, "For the record, in the sweepstake I came the closest," before cracking up with laughter.
Brand told him, "Don't cackle, I tried my hardest... Thanks, nice to know you're all behind me, very supportive, nice to know you're all supporting me!"
Comedian Lock also mocked the grand entrance Brand made on the back of an elephant at his lavish wedding to his pop star bride in India in October 2010.
He recalled, "It was a lovely moment, the bit in a wedding where the man usually walks into a church... You came in on an elephant with a whole crowd of people watching, you didn't smile and wave at anyone, and you came in with a solemn studied look.
"The thing is when you're on an elephant, you have to get off an elephant to do the wedding. The whole platform tips really badly forward... and then you're helped off the elephant by a whole team."
Brand admitted, "That marriage was shaky from the get go," and later quipped, "Marriage is a sacred bond that can last 14 months."
Brand, whose divorce to Perry was finalised last July (12), is hosting a week of Xfm radio shows with Gallagher to promote the upcoming Teenage Cancer Trust (Tct) gigs in London.
