The comedian will be taking ‘An Audience with Noel Fielding’ up and down the country between October and December, bringing along some very funny friends and well known characters. After the ‘Mighty Boosh’ wrapped up their ‘Future Sailors’ tour in 2009 the pair decided to take a little time off from their famous double act. After all, they’d been doing it for over 10 years at that point. Noel, however stayed on TV and filled Bill Bailey’s vacant seat as a permanent team captain on BBC 2’s ‘Nevermind the Buzzcocks’. He also appeared in films such as ‘Come on Eileen’ and ‘Horrid Henry the Movie’. Then in November 2011 he went back to his other main passion besides comedy, art, and released his book ‘The Scribblings of a Madcap Shambleton’ featuring his own unique art work of portraits, characters and even some stories to go along with them. The book’s promotion saw Fielding travel to Manchester, Glasgow and London demonstrating his painting skills on the windows of Waterstones, Urban Outfitters and in London’s Golden Square.

January 2012 saw Noel debut his first comedy show away from the Mighty Boosh, titled ‘Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy’ on E4. The show featured live action sketches as well as animation. Alongside Noel starred his brother Mike as well as comedy actors Dolly Wells and Tom Meetan. The series featured the characters such as Sargent Raymond Boombox, a perm loving New York cop, Dondylion, a lion living in captivity and not enjoying it and Fantasy Man, a man who lives inside his own tron style adventure world. The series was a collaboration between Noel and his friend animator Nigel Coan, who was also responsible for the moon in the 'Mighty Boosh'.

Last year saw Noel making a return to the stage, he first performed a small London gig in January before taking to the Royal Albert Hall alongside Russell Brand as part of the series of Teenaged Cancer Trust gigs. Then, ‘Mighty Boosh’ fans finally got to rejoice when he teamed up with Julian Barratt again to perform at Beck’s Song Reader gig in London. It was the first time the pair had performed together on stage for three years as they gave their rendition of ‘We All Wear Cloaks’. Boosh fan’s then had further delight when the act were announced in the line up for Jack Black’s Festival Supreme in Santa Monica California. Before their trip to the States they treated British fans to three warm up gigs in London, proving that the pair’s time apart hadn’t lost them any of their original magic.

This year looks set to be another busy one for Noel. Along with the just announced tour, the second series of ‘Luxury Comedy’ is due to start in May and there should also be an album of songs from the series as part of his ‘Loose Tapestries’ project with Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno.

Fans heading to the ‘Evening with…’ shows later this year can expect a mix of "music, comedy, animation and sketches from TV characters such as The Moon and Fantasy Man”. Joining him will be his brother Mike Fielding, best known as Naboo in the Boosh and Smooth on Luxury Comedy and Tom Meetan who plays Andy Warhol. As it's Noel you can expect the unexpected as his unleashes his imagination on a live audience, after all he’s already told his fans one twitter ‘come along and bring a horse who thinks he's in pussy riot’. Oh and fancy dress is optional but probably encouraged.
