Nicole Scherzinger would consider freezing her eggs to have children later in life.
The 34-year-old singer - who is dating British racing driver Lewis Hamilton - is not ready to have kids just yet but would consider having them beyond her 30s if it was the right thing to do.
She said: ''I'm not getting any younger. I don't want to have kids now, though.
''Five years might be a good time to look at having children but whenever it's meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, I'm focusing on my career.
''I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life. And, if not, just freeze your eggs!''
Although the 'Try With Me' hitmaker does think she could possibly have nannies to help out with any children, she does not want someone else bringing them up.
She told Britain's Marie Claire magazine: ''When I'm a mother, I'm not going to be one of those mothers who has nannies.
''Actually, I might have nannies -- never say never -- but I'm not having someone else raise my kids.''
Nicole also looks to her mother Rosemary for how to run her relationship with Lewis.
She added: ''The time we spend together I do cherish. It's separate from everything else.
''I'm going to take care of the man I'm with. I grew up in a household where my mother takes care of my dad -- she cooks, she does everything -- and that's the kind of girl I am.''
