The former 'Jersey Shore' star, who has 21-month-old son Lorenzo with fiancé Jionni LaValle, is set to welcome a baby girl into the world in September, and believes her healthy diet has made the experience more enjoyable.
The 26-year-old star said: ''My first pregnancy, I didn't do anything. I just sat and ate on the couch and I was literally a whale. I was so negative, 'cause I just didn't feel good at all. With this pregnancy, I'm working out and eating healthy. I feel better about life.''
The brunette beauty - real name Nicole Polizzi - is determined not to gain any unnecessary weight in her third trimester, as she is getting married shortly after her daughter's birth.
Asked about her cravings, she told UsMagazine.com: ''I craved a lot of fruit the first pregnancy, and this time it's strawberries. [During my first pregnancy], I would eat so much pineapple that my tongue would burn from the acid.''
Snooki works out regularly, but her son is also helping her to stay active.
She explained: ''He's running around. He's really, really smart. I'm not just saying this 'cause it's my son. We teach him every single day, and he's very aware of things. He's going to be 2, so he's getting to that age where he can actually communicate. It's a fun age!''
