Nicole Kidman has undergone a dramatic appearance change for her role in the upcoming drama 'The Paperboy'. The actress has swapped her fiery red hair for a peroxide blonde style and debuted her new look on the movie's set in New Orleans, Louisiana on Monday (1st July 2011), reports the UK's Daily Mail.
Although some fans have suggested the new style could be a wig, the actress looked "incredible convincing" while shooting scenes this week. Kidman matched her blonde locks with a bright green waitress-style dress and heavy eye makeup. 'The Paperboy' follows a reporter and his brother who team up to exonerate a man sentenced to death. Oscar-winner Kidman plays a woman who begins to write letters to the men on death row - she is believed to have replaced 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara in the movie back in June. The film also stars Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron and British actor David Oyelowo. Meanwhile, the actress's husband Keith Urban is reportedly facing police questioning after a photographer accused the singer of attacking his car.
After completing filming on 'The Paperboy', Nicole Kidman will begin work on the drama movie 'Stoker', about a teenage girl mourning the death of her father. The film also stars Mia Wasikowska and MATTHEW GOODE.
