Nicole Kidman ('Moulin Rouge', 'Australia!', 'Practical Magic') dazzled photographers and arrivals in a stunning, rosy Lanvin dress and matching lipstick at 'The Paperboy' premiere in Cannes on May 24th 2012.

The 44-year-old stars as Charlotte Bless in the film who she described to GMA News as being 'an oversexed Barbie doll'. The already controversially racy film set in the sixties centers on 'High School Musical' actor Zac Efron's character, Jack, who becomes deeply sexually obsessed with this older woman. However, Charlotte is clearly infatuated with a death row inmate played by John Cusack who she is in regular correspondence with.

The film has been heavily criticised since it's screening after a scene where Kidman's character urinates on Jack's jellyfish sting.

Despite playing an utterly shameless blonde with excessive fake tan, too much make-up and unflatteringly skimpy clothes, Kidman certainly looked the opposite on the red carpet with her country singing husband, Keith Urban, in her glamorous, backless get-up, continuing her reputation of having pure elegance and grace. She was strongly rivalled, however, by super-fashionable supermodel Heidi Klum who donned a pale blue transparent gown that left almost nothing to the imagination with nothing but embroidered patterning protecting her modesty, but was, nonetheless, unfalteringly classy.
