Nicole Kidman will be paid just $570 (GBP300)-a-week to star in her next movie - less than half what her make-up artist will earn.
The OSCAR winner is accepting the Australian minimum wage to appear alongside Russell Crowe in EUCALYPTUS, in a bid to help the country's movie industry.
Kidman recently hit out at speculation about her earnings. When asked about her salary for Eucalyptus, she snapped, "(Salary stories are) intrusive.
"Do you ask your neighbour what are they earning for their job? Why should I have to put up with it?"
