Nicole Kidman relished the idea of camping in the outback while shooting new movie AUSTRALIA with Hugh Jackman and Baz Luhrmann - because the location was so remote, it was two hours away from the nearest town.
The actress had no problems with 'roughing it' because it beat the tedious daily drive to and from the set.
She says, "I was just like, 'Look, I'll sleep in a tent, I'll sleep in a trailer, I don't care. I just don't wanna have to drive (for) two hours every night.
"I love camping... We had Port-a-loos (portable toilet)."
But pale beauty Kidman had to watch out for the Australian sun - because she was spending her days exposed to it.
She adds, "The thing we had to wear out there was sunscreen; I got a suntan for the first time in my life."
