Nicole Kidman is in talks to star in THE BACHELORETTE PARTY, a movie adaptation of Legally Blonde writer Karen McCullah Lutz's latest novel of the same name.

Oscar-winning actress Kidman has already signed up to take on producing duties, and his eyeing the possibility of taking on the starring role in the film.

The comedy novel a high school teacher who is forced to attend her cousin's bachelorette (hen) party not long after being jilted at the altar. To make things more miserable for the lead character, her cousin is marrying her best male friend.

But things get even worse when the cousin gets into a drunken tryst with another man and the teacher is left with the dilemma of telling her best pal or staying loyal to her cousin.
