Connor Cruise's favourite action movie does not star his father Tom.
The 17-year-old aspiring actor - the adopted son of the 49-year-old Hollywood star and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman - admits he would rather watch 'Crimson Tide', about an officer who stages a mutiny against his captain on a submarine starring Denzel Washington, than any other action film.
Snubbing some of his father's classic films, including 'Top Gun', 'Mission: Impossible' and 'Minority Report', Connor told TMZ.com ''My favourite action movie? 'Crimson Tide'. It's just a great movie.''
Connor - who is also an aspiring DJ - largely stays out of the limelight along with his sister Isabella, but earlier this year both enjoyed a party to celebrate his 17th birthday at the Hyde Lounge at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
While there she introduced everyone there to her new boyfriend, fellow Scientologist, Eddie Frencher.
A source said: ''She introduced him as her boyfriend at her brother Connor's 17th birthday party.
''They arrived separately. She waited outside for him with a ticket, and then they walked in together.''
