French President Nicolas Sarkozy's singer wife Carla Bruni has denied she once had thirty lovers, despite boasting about them in a song.
The former model Bruni dated Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton before settling down with Sarkozy earlier this year (Feb08).
And she shocked fans by referring to "my thirty lovers" in her recently released album Comme Si de Rien N'etait.
But the ex-model insists her controversial lyrics are down to "poetic license".
She says, "It's not that I had a lot of lovers. It's that I never hide them. It's a different thing. I have not one day of regret."
