Nicolas Cage is embroiled in a fight with his ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton over the conservatorship of their troubled son, death metal singer WESTON CAGE. As CONTACTMUSIC reported last Wednesday (15 JUNE 11), Weston had recently been taken in for psychiatric evaluation following a public altercation with his personal trainer on 7th June. Cage has put the blame for this incident squarely at the feet of Fulton, telling TMZ: "I hope Ms. Fulton will come to her senses one day and get some help.Weston is a man. I have complete faith he will weather this well". Weston himself also sided with Cage, stating: "I am a fully capable and self-sufficient adult. I want no contact with Christina Fulton and will never undergo the torment she put me through ever again."
But now Fulton has hit back in an interview with RumourFix, and has said: "The right parent is not the most popular parent. I just want to get my son back where it was working before -- get him back on the regime he was on. As soon as that is done, I'll be happy." The battle over Weston is the latest in a series of confrontations between the ex-lovers. They have been fighting over their home in Los Angeles for 2 years, with Fulton suing Cage for $13 million dollars, claiming that he had no right to sell the property. Fulton recently won that property battle, but the fight over the conservatorship is ongoing.
