Nicolas Cage went back to work on his latest film after being arrested at the weekend.
The 47-year-old actor returned to the set of 'Medallion' in New Orleans yesterday (18.04.11), where he was said to be "extremely professional".
In the early hours of Saturday (16.04.11) he was held by police for domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public intoxication after allegedly pushing wife Alice Kim but hasn't let the incident get in the way of his latest role, in which he plays a former thief who is searching for his missing daughter.
A set insider told People.com: "He is always extremely professional. He is never late, no tantrums.
"He is a dedicated actor when he is at work and I don't think people would hire him so much if he wasn't. He's in fine shape and ready to work."
Nicolas's working attitude differs massively to his reported behaviour before his arrest, with witnesses claiming he was: "running about and screaming in the street."
