Jay Baruchel says Nicolas Cage was a ''super professional'' actor on the set of 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'.
Jay Baruchel loved working with Nicolas Cage on 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'.
The 27-year-old star, who plays lead character Dave Stutler in the movie, claims he and Nicolas are "kindred spirits" and they got on well on the set of the film.
He said: "Nicolas is such a generous, caring actor. Such a lovely compassionate man.
"Super professional, always on time. And we're just kind of kindred spirits. We're both oddballs that march to the beat of our own drum, so I enjoyed working with him and chillin' with him equally."
The Canadian-born actor also admits he enjoys 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' as it reminds him of films he loved as a child.
He told about.com: "I love this one just because this is the kind of movie I grew up loving, you know? To me, it's so got so much different. It's got 'Indiana Jones' and it's got 'Excalibur' in it.
"I mean, it's got so much fun stuff in it. It was just your quintessential big, epic, family summer movie with crazy special effects and stunts and set pieces, and an epic story between good and evil. And it's just like I'm a sucker for this stuff."
'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' is released worldwide in July and August.
