No clap-backs from Miss Minaj.
Nicki Minaj is refusing to let Remy Ma get anymore attention than she already has by declining to rise to the rapper's bait. She hasn't said a word in response to Remy's two diss tracks about her, nor has she replied with her own counter-diss track. She's brushing off the whole thing.
Nicki Minaj has nothing to say to Remy Ma
Some things just aren't worth Nicki's time, and a string of insults, threats and unfounded claims are some of them. According to TMZ, she doesn't see any point in clapping back at her rival given that other names mentioned in 'ShETHER' have already come forward to deny Remy's comments including Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Ebro Darden - all whom she was accused of sleeping with.
In her second diss track 'Another One', Remy Ma demanded Nicki use her lyrical prowess to deliver her own blow, but she's stood firm with her silence and it seems Remy has given up on trying to continue that feud. Remy called Nicki her 'arch enemy', though, in a recent interview with Heben Nigatu and Tracy Clayton for Buzzfeed's Another Round podcast live on Facebook. Dramatic, yes, but she had little else to say on the subject. 'It's over. If she wants to say something that's cool', she said. At least until she cracks and releases ANOTHER song.
Nicki's ex-boyfriend and former co-writer Safaree Samuels was famously mentioned in the track, and he opened up to Wendy Williams about his experience after the song was released and addressed the claims in the song. 'I was on a flight when it happened and then when I landed I'm hoping somebody didn't die because I had about three hundred calls and text messages, I had a whole bunch of people hitting me up', he said.
In reference to Remy's suggestion that Safaree wrote all of Nicki's music while they were dating ('You can't get a on line without Safaree'), he admits that he did help her with all of her work. 'As far as that whole process goes, it was a collaborative effort', he says. 'She doesn't sit there and do absolutely nothing but I definitely was a helping force in everything that had to do with creating music.'
