Police were called to Nicki Minaj's home after she and her rumoured boyfriend reportedly got into a fight with her maid.
Police were called to Nicki Minaj's house after she got into a fight with her maid.
The 'Super Bass' singer dismissed one of her workers two weeks ago after she took a picture of the singer taking out the rubbish and asked her to sign it and Nicki reportedly mistook a current employee for the woman when she encountered her at home today (28.10.11), leading to an altercation.
After the current maid refused to leave, she is said to have told Nicki that she would not be "treated by an animal" while the 28-year-old star replied "I'll show you how to treat someone like an animal ... get the f**k out of my house!"
Nicki's boyfriend - who is thought to be her assistant Safaree Samuels - then reportedly pushed the woman before police were called by her boss, gossip website TMZ reports.
A battery report was also filed although no arrests were made at the scene.
This is not Nicki's first brush with the law.
The fiery singer was fined earlier this year for swearing on stage.
Nicki was handed a court summons by police in Jamaica following her expletive-filled performance at the Reggae Sumfest festival at the Catherine Hall Complex in Montego Bay in July.
Although she did not appear in the local court to answer charges of breaching local laws against profanity, her local lawyer Hugh Thompson pleaded guilty on her behalf and she was fined J$1,000 - the equivalent of just $11 in the US.
