Nicki Minaj has confessed that she is "beyond thrilled" to be supporting Britney Spears on her forthcoming 'Femme Fatale' U.S. tour, reports MTV News. Nicki Minaj has replaced Enrique Iglesias on the 26 date tour after the Spanish singer dropped out for unknown reasons.
Minaj, best known for her hit 'Girls Fall Like Dominos', will join lesser known acts Jessie And The Toy Boys and Nervo for every show on the tour. The 26-year-old rapper told Mtv News, "I am beyond thrilled to tour with Britney. It's an honour. She's an icon. This summer will be one for the books!" After yesterday's announcement, Britney immediately took to her Twitter page to reveal her excitement, saying, "Could not think of a sexier Femme Fatale than @NickiMinaj to come on tour with me! Gonna be a hot summer people!" Minaj responded soon after, saying, "britneyspears Hot Indeed Your Fierceness!!! This tour's gonna Kick Ass!!! The #FemmeFataleBarbz r Ready!!! Let's GO!!!" The 'Femme Fatale' tour kicks off in California on 16th June 2011 before heading to Las Vegas, Tacoma, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Chicago, Dallas and Houston.
