Nicki Minaj fans will be no doubt devastated to learn that the superstar has deleted her Twitter account following a spat with a fan. It seems unfortunately timed - this profile deletion and subsequent furore comes just about the same time as the promotion for latest album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.' In fairness there doesn't seem to be much in the way of marketing about it, given that it was apparently a fan leaking parts of the LP that caused the storm in the first place - something her label would most certainly not have wanted.
MTV News reports that the user NickiDaily had posted snippets of the star's upcoming album, which led to Minaj blocking the fan. What followed was then an outspoken tirade on her own account - now of course deleted - and the shutting down of her page. "And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz Dust right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me argentina," she reportedly wrote, adding "Like seriously. its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye."
