Actor-turned-playwright Nick Moran has vowed never to write another play despite his first show TELSTAR receiving rave reviews on its debut in London's West End - because the theatre industry is full of crooks.

The LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS star hated organising his acclaimed stage creation and is now concentrating solely on his acting career after suffering financial difficulties when his acclaimed West End stage show struggled to attract audiences.

He says, "Would I write another play? Not after this one. It's been a nightmare. The West End stinks.

"You end up meeting some of the most crooked people I've ever met.

"It's a rotten industry, so no, I won't be writing another play for a very long time."
