Nick Jonas is to appear on the ABC network sitcom 'Last Man Standing', the show which also stars former 'Tool Man' Tim Allen and Nancy Travis. Abc of course were also broadcasters of Allen's most famous television role to date, 'Home Improvement' in which he played a wise cracking handy man named Tim Taylor who had his own TV program between 1991 and 1999.
Back to Jonas though; the youngest of the hugely famous Jonas Brothers will be playing Ryan, a man without a job who did a runner after fathering a child with the daughter of Allen's character Mike, reports E Online, in a Christmas-themed episode. The 19 year-old has had global success with his two brothers Nick and Joe on the musical stage, but he hasn't been seen in an acting role since guest starring in the short-lived Matthew Perry comedy 'Mr. Sunshine', also on Abc.
The Jonas Brothers have been divisive among critics, with a particularly cruel parody over their supposed chastity executed on animated comedy 'South Park', but commercially their success has rarely wavered with their last two albums - 2008's 'A Little Longer' and the following year's 'Lines, Vines And Trying Times' - both going to the top of the US Billboard Charts. That said though, they've not released an album since.
