Nick Jonas is making a return to the Broadway stage.

The 18-year-old singer - who has previously appeared in musicals 'Les Miserables' and 'Hairspray' - will now tread the boards in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'.

Portraying the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch, Nick - who also joins older brothers Kevin and Joe in pop group the Jonas Brothers - will succeed 'Harry Potter' actor Daniel Radcliffe and 'Glee' star Darren Criss when he takes on the part in 2012.

Writing on his twitter page, he said: "It's official. I'm coming back to Broadway. So excited & honored to play the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying next year! (sic)"

However, Nick assured Jonas Brothers fans that while the trio are pursuing individual projects for the time being, they plan to reunite to make music again at some point in the future.

He tweeted: "The three of us are so thrilled to support each other in our individual projects knowing we'll come back together again one day. (sic)"
