Miley Cyrus insists it was a ''no brainer'' agreeing to perform at the Manchester benefit concert and hopes her and her pal Ariana Grande will be able to organise more things like this.
Miley Cyrus says it was a ''no brainer'' agreeing to do the Manchester benefit concert.
The 'Malibu' hitmaker was thrilled to join her friend Ariana Grande at the concert on Sunday (04.06.17) to raise money for the victims of an awful terror attack following an Ariana concert in the north England city only a few weeks ago.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw backstage at the One Love Manchester benefit concert, Miley said: ''It's a no brainer [when Ariana asked me]. Yes, for sure. I think what I told her too is I plan on making music for the rest of my life and I think that's her plan too.

Bloom was in hot water after he used the word 'pikey' in an interview with Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw this week.
Orlando Bloom has explained his use of the word ‘pikey’ during an appearance on BBC Radio this week, saying that he “wasn’t taking a slant” at Gypsy and traveller communities.
The 40 year old actor was interviewed live in the studio by breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw on Wednesday morning (April 26th), in order to promote his upcoming new film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
He was asked a question about whether he still does his own stunts in his movies, to which Bloom replied: “I’m still a pikey from Kent, boy, I’m still a pikey from Kent. You don’t want to get on the wrong side of me, boy.”

Grimshaw appeared as usual on Tuesday morning to explain the accident, which had happened the night before as he drove home.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw reassured fans he was “absolutely fine” after he rolled his £80,000 Mercedes while apparently swerving to avoid a stray cat.
The 32 year old DJ and former ‘X Factor’ judge was driving on a residential street in Stoke Newington where he lives, when he suddenly hit the brakes to avoid hitting the cat, clipping another parked vehicle in the street in the process and rolling his Mercedes onto its roof. He was unharmed, as the accident took place while he was driving at under 15 miles per hour.

Walsh criticised Ora and her fellow judge Nick Grimshaw for being "lightweight" and knowing "nothing about talent" on last year's series.
Ahead of his return to ‘The X Factor’, judge Louis Walsh has criticised the choice of Rita Ora for the talent’s disastrous series last year, saying the 25 year old pop star “didn’t know a thing” about talent and that she turned it into a “fashion show”.
Walsh, 63, is coming back to the ITV singing contest after a year away, and is returning alongside fellow former judges Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger. He spoke to Best magazine on Wednesday (August 3rd) and lambasted the decision to have both Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (who has also quit the programme) and Ora on the same panel, saying that he advised against the move at the time.
Rita Ora departed 'The X Factor' after just one season earlier this year
BBC Radio 1 DJ Grimshaw brought together a variety of celebs for the affectionate, fully-clothed parody version of Kanye's now-infamous 'Famous'.
Unlike Kanye’s controversial clip, in which incredibly life-like waxworks lie completely naked in the same bed, in the self-styled ‘Safe For Work’ parody version all the celebrities are fully clothed.
The affectionate clip also features the likes of Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas, the pop-punk act Five Seconds of Summer, And & Dec and Craig David.
Cheryl is the second ‘X Factor’ judge to announce their exit, following Nick Grimshaw earlier this year.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has confirmed she is leaving ‘The X Factor’ to concentrate on her music career. The former Girls Aloud singer first appeared on the judging panel from 2008 to 2010, before returning in 2014. Cheryl’s exit comes just two months after fellow judge Nick Grimshaw also confirmed he wouldn’t be back for the new series.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has confirmed her ‘X Factor’ exit.
In a statement Cheryl said: "I've missed making music. I have had such an amazing experience being a judge on ‘The X Factor’. I have learnt so much and enjoyed nurturing talent but I've missed making music and am excited to be recording again.”
After Olly Murs and Caroline Flack confirmed their departure, 'The X Factor' is said to be looking to bring back O’Leary.
With the next series of ‘The X Factor’ seemingly in turmoil after a string of departures, bosses are said to be looking to former presenter Dermot O’Leary to return to the show. O’Leary is said have been told he could ‘name his price’ to return to the series, with a potential three year deal being looked at.
Is Dermot O’Leary set for an X Factor return.
According to The Sun, O’Leary, who was previously paid £1million per series, will be back as host, with the deal currently being thrashed out. “Dermot will come back to The X Factor. Talks are under way on his deal but everything is positive,” an insider told the newspaper.

The presenting duo have left the ITV talent show after just one series.
‘The X Factor’ co-presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs have confirmed they’ve left the ITV talent show after days of rumours concerning their future. The duo, who previously presented spin-off series ‘The Xtra Factor’, took the reigns of the main show last year, following the departure of Dermot O’Leary.
Caroline Flack and Olly Murs’ time on ‘The X Factor’ is over.
In a statement to The Sun Murs said: “This was an incredibly hard decision to make and one I didn’t take lightly as I’ve really enjoyed co-hosting ‘The X Factor’. It’s been one big adventure and I loved every minute of it. But my heart belongs to music and I want to concentrate 100 per cent on making my next album and getting back to performing.”

Murs’ co-host Caroline Flack was said to have got the axe from the series last week.
Olly Murs could be the next member of ‘The X-Factor’ team to leave before the new series, as part of a massive shake-up of the ITV talent show. Earlier this week Nick Grimshaw confirmed he would not be returning as a judge after just one series and Murs’ co-host Caroline Flack is also said to be out of a job.
Is Olly Murs also set to leave ‘The X-Factor’?
Speaking to The Mirror, Murs admitted, “I don’t know if me and Caroline will be back.” While no official word has been given on Flack’s status with the show, rumours that the presenter has been fired have been circulating all week.

Simon Cowell has been ringing the changes after 'The X Factor's annus horribilis in 2015, with Louis Tomlinson mooted to be Grimshaw's replacement.
In the wake of the poor ratings it suffered last year, Simon Cowell has made changes to ‘The X Factor’ by axing co-presenter Caroline Flack, soon after Nick Grimshaw confirmed that he had quit the judging panel of his own accord.
According to The Sun, 36 year old Flack is said to have paid the price for the criticism that she and co-host Olly Murs received as they presented the ITV show for the first time last year. The final episode averaged viewing figures of only 5.95 million, amid flagging ratings plaguing the whole series, and it’s not clear that Murs will keep his place either as the pair were frequently criticised for making mistakes.

The new ‘Top Gear’ host is said to be too busy to front the Channel 4 chatshow as well.
Chris Evans will reportedly not be back as the host of Channel 4’s ‘TFI Friday’, due to his commitments with the new series of ‘Top Gear’. The Sun reports that despite its success, ‘TFI Friday’ will not return to our screens next year as Evans is just too busy now thanks to his new role as the host of ‘Top Gear’ on the BBC.
Chris Evans is said to be too busy for a ‘TFI Friday’ return.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "'TFI' was only ever envisaged as a one-off series. There have been some preliminary conversations about the potential for it to return. But timing difficulties on both sides mean there are no plans for 'TFI' to come back.”
Rita Ora joined the judging panel with Nick Grimshaw just this year, but rumours have it that both could be on their way out.
She may have joined the judging panel just this year, but Rita Ora has hinted that she’ll be quitting ‘The X Factor’ after only one series in the aftermath of her prodigy Louisa Johnson winning the competition this weekend.
“As a new judge it's a good way to leave the show,” said Rita, when she spoke to the series’ spin-off TV show ‘Xtra Factor’ viewers on Sunday night (December 13th) alongside Louisa herself, who became the youngest contestant ever to win the competition at the age of 17.
“I really can't put it into words," added Louisa. “It doesn't even feel real. It feels crazy. I just appreciated everyone keeping me in here. I've got the most loyal supporters ever, I can't thank them enough.”

The 21 year old 'X Factor' hopeful was voted off the show on Sunday night, and has been doing a day of media appearances on Monday.
Upon his exit from ‘The X Factor’ – for good, this time – eliminated contestant Mason Noise has said that he wasn’t taking part in the show to win and that he’s “relieved” to have left.
Having already been granted a reprieve five weeks ago by being brought back by judge Nick Grimshaw, after fellow hopeful Tom Bleasby unexpectedly dropped out of the show voluntarily, the controversial 21 year old was finally voted off the show having received the least amount of support from the public on Sunday (November 22nd).

Anton Stephans isn't the X Factor judge's biggest fan
Axed X Factor contestant Anton Stephans has hit out at judge Nick Grimshaw for being "unkind". The final act in Simon Cowell’s Overs category was voted off after a tense sing off with teenager Che Chesterman over the weekend but was not happy with comments made by Che’s mentor.

The Directioner bought one of the flying cars used in the memorable sequence from 'Chamber of Secrets'.
Liam Payne has admitted to being a ‘Harry Potter’ uber-fan, revealing that he owns a flying car from the movie Chamber of Secrets and keeps it in his garden. Well, that’s what you can do when you’re a member of one of the biggest bands in the world.
Liam and his One Direction colleagues were interviewed by Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1’s breakfast show on Monday morning (November 16th), and the 22 year old confessed, after a little teasing from Harry Styles, that he splashed out an undisclosed six-figure sum on the piece of Potter paraphernalia and placed it in the garden of his £5.1 million Surrey mansion.

Nick Grimshaw was rushed to hospital after swallowing glass during his Radio 1 breakfast show.
This may think that this couldn't be anything other than an entirely fabricated story, but BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ Nick Grimshaw has swallowed glass live on air, and has been rushed to hospital. The DJ had to seek immediate medical attention after he accidentally chowed down on a shard of glass from the mug he was drinking from on Monday (March 3, 2014).

In light of James Corden's recent onstage kiss with Nick Grimshaw, we look at our other favourite award's show kisses.
Good friends Nick Grimshaw and James Corden shared an intimate (and kind of tonguey) kiss at last night’s BRIT awards, much to the delight of the crowd. The kiss marked the final time that Corden would present the awards show, and also seemed to make quite an impression on Nick who then propositioned his friend: "We can be happy together. Just leave your wife! We can bring up that child on our own."

Famous people kissing has become almost as much a part of awards shows these days as presenting and receiving the actual awards themselves!

Harry Styles has stolen the headlines so far at London Fashion Week
It seems as though London Fashion Week has been dominated by two characters: Cara Delevingne and Harry Styles. The latter isn't even anything to do with the thing, but he keeps turning up and stealing the headlines away from the various designers showing at this year's event.
Nick Grimshaw [L] and Harry Styles [R] At London Fashion Week on Tuesday
On Monday, Styles turned out to watch Delevingne on the catwalk and returned on Tuesday with his best pal Nick Grimshaw. The pair chatted away on the front row of the Fashion East show in the Topshop Show Space.
So what does this mean for the dating rumours?
Harry Styles, aka arguably the best quaffed member of One Direction, was unsurprisingly spotted at Henry Holland’s show during London Fashion Week. What is surprising however, was that when the festivities (which he spent chuckling with Nick Grimshaw in the front row) Harry chose to ditch Cara Delevingne’s W Magazine party and instead head off with Grimshaw and several other people for a pint.
Nothing like soaking up a little fashion with friends, before retiring to a more casual setting.
While he may not exactly look the part, apparently Harry acts like a guys’ guy from time to time. Leaving behind Delevingne (whom he is rumored to be dating these days). Instead of heading to Cara’s party after the show. Styles went off with best mate Nick, his sister Gemma, and, according to the Mirror, Kelly Osbourne and her fiance Matthew Mosshart. The group then spotted making their way to a pub in North London, before popping over to Nick Grimshaw’s house in Primrose Hill.
After gaining trust, the young DJ is gaining numbers
Most had got used to the sound of Chris Moyles’ voice in the morning, like the bin-men or the sound of microwave heating up your porridge. It was comfortable, if you liked that sort of thing.
So when Nick Grimshaw came in – an attempt by the BBC to get that 18-24 audience – there was always going to be some bedding in time. And it would appear as though people are finally getting nice and comfy with old Grimmy.
After losing nearly a million listeners when he began the early bird show, the 28-year-old has clawed audience members back, increasing from 5.78 million to 5.88 million since the beginning of the year.

Gay or bisexual? The One Direction heart-throb says he's neither
Harry Styles has denied that he’s in a relationship with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. The pair have become very pally of late, attending parties together and the like, but Styles has moved to reassure his legions of fans that he is still in fact single, clearing up the bisexual rumour along the way by adding that he only has his eyes set on the ladies.
Asked if there was any truth to a possible romance between himself and Grimshaw, Styles said: “Oh, really? I didn’t even know. We’re not dating, no. We’re just friends.” And when asked whether or not he’s bisexual, Harry said: “Bisexual? Me? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure I’m not.”
It doesn’t matter if he is or not, but we’re not sure he actually knows yet. Still, batting away rumours like this must get boring after a while, so he’s probably just having a little fun with it. “Some of them are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying,” he said of the constant stream of stories from the tabloids that seem to fixate on him.

Is Harry Styles dating Nick Grimshaw? No.
GQ Magazine got straight to the heart of the issue during their recent chat with everyone's favourite member of One Direction, Harry Styles.
The 19-year-old has taken on a Mick Jagger-esque legend regarding his sexuality in recent months, and speculation he is in a relationship with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw refuses to go away. Until now.
Asked rather matter-of-factly about his alleged romance with Grimshaw, the 19-year-old pin-up asked the interviewer, "What rumours would they be?" Pressed to address speculation that he and Nick, 28, were lovers, Styles replied, "Oh, really? I didn't even know. We're not dating, no. We're just friends."

Cara Delevingne joined her best pal Rita Ora on-stage at the DKNY Art Works party, which the Burberry model hosted on Wednesday night (June 12, 2013). Iggy Azalea and Wretch 32 had entertained the crowds at the Old Firestation on Lambeth High Street, though it was Rita's duet with Cara that really raised the roof.
Cara showed off her dance moves and rapping skills on a rendition of Notorious BIG's 'Juicy' - and, well, they weren't half bad. The model wore a black jumpsuit with elaborate jewellery and high top sneakers, while pal Rita opted for a blue and black top with black skirt.

Overall Radio One figures are down, with Radio Four now overshadowing the station in terms of audience numbers.
Nick Grimshaw, it turns out, is something of a marmite-like radio presenter, with the Radio One breakfast slot suffering a dramatic fall in listeners since the DJ took over from Chris Moyles in September last year. The station's flagship how now has it's lowest audience pull for a decade.
According to the latest official Rajar audience figures published today (May 16), the show has averaged 5.8 million listeners each week in the past three months, a far cry from the numbers he drew in at the beginning of his term as breakfast DJ, which saw a 900,000 increase in listenership. Meanwhile, on Radio 2, Chris Evans' rival breakfast show is at it's highest audience level to date, drawing in 9.8 million each week on average, an increase of nearly 600,000 since the beginning of the year.
Nick Grimshaw has the station's backing
Nick Grimshaw is having a rough old week!
Nick Grimshaw didn't need this. Just days after being on the receiving end of one of Robbie Williams rants at the Sony Awards, the Radio One DJ woke up on Wednesday morning to discover his swanky car had been clamped. The 28-year-old was determined not to let the bad luck get him down and posed happily with his vehicle and a clamping document.
According to the Daily Mail, the cost of the removal of the clamp is £70.00 though Grimshaw has probably also received a parking fine of £80.00. It's probably safe to assume the presenter won't struggle to the pay off the fine, though it's another slice of bad luck in a terrible week for the DJ. On Monday, Robbie Williams fumed to the Sony Awards audience about Radio One's refusal to play his chart topping track Candy last year, singling out Grimshaw for particular scorn. "I did the Brits and started singing, 'Hey-ho, here we go' to a bunch of industry people and they were all just like, "F*** off, you're fat and you're old. And Radio 1 don't play you no more - you're fat and you're old"," adding, "Isn't that right Nick, you b******?"
Despite the rant, Grimshaw appeared to take things in his stride and later told The Sun, "I think he was so funny. I love him and he's really cool. He should have his own radio show. I'd have him on every morning."

Williams angry that he's been deemed 'too old' to be played on the station
There’ve been a few dissenting voices about BBC Radio One’s aggressive move to attract younger audiences, but few have been as vocal as Robbie Williams last night, who took his opportunity while on stage at the Sony Radio Academy Awards to lay into Nick Grimshaw and the station in general.
Williams is aggrieved that Radio One have allegedly stopped playing his music because they deemed the 39 year-old too old for their audiences, and he took his frustrations out last night, according to The Sun. “I did the Brits and started singing, ‘Hey-ho, here we go’ to a bunch of industry people and they were all just like, ‘F*** off, you’re fat and you’re old. And Radio 1 don’t play you no more – you’re fat and you’re old’ Williams ranted during his set. He then looked at Grimshaw and said: “Isn’t that right Nick, you b******?”
Continuing his tirade later on in the set after performing his single ‘Candy,’ he said “That’s Candy. How four-year-old do you want it, Radio 1?” before getting right up close to Radio One’s breakfast show host and putting a piece of chewing gum in his mouth, commenting: “Those aren’t drugs by the way. Nah, Radio 1’s not something that keeps me up at night, not at all. They’ve let me back on anyway with DIZZEE RASCAL, so thanks for that, Radio 1.” Bitter much?

Breakfast show host originally told he wasn't right for the station back in 2000
Nick Grimshaw may be top dog now at Radio One, as host of the breakfast show there every weekday morning, but talking to The Sun he revealed that he didn’t even make the cut for work experience there when he applied as a youngster aged just 15.
Grimshaw was told he wasn’t right for the station 13 years before eventually landing the key role; he told The Sun: “My first ever rejection was from Radio 1, funnily enough. I wrote to ask for work experience and they wrote me a letter saying no. I remember being so sad, I moped around the house for ages.” It looked like the BBC knew what they were talking about too, because forays into student radio didn’t result in much success either. He recalled: “It was an early morning show and all the students were still in bed so nobody listened to it! We lasted for about three days. It was fun, though. I’ve still got the tape somewhere. I should play it on the show sometime.”
Now at celebrity status, Grimshaw insisted he didn’t live his life much different to anyone else: “I don’t really do anything starry at all. I don’t think there are any jobs that are that glamorous unless you’re actually a princess” he said. “I think the things that make everyone I know happy, whether they’re incredibly famous or not, are the same things — getting loads of food in and watching X Factor. We’re all just slobs.”

Last night's Brits were an utter yawn fest, so says us
Awards ceremonies are supposed to make you laugh. They’re supposed to make you cry. They’re supposed to make you angry. They’re supposed to shock the living daylights out of you. They are supposed to provide some serious ‘water cooler’ moments for you to talk about at work the next day. Did The Brits do any of these things? Did they heck. The most animated we got last night was when we managed to muster up the energy to actually yawn.
Nick Grimshaw was accused of being still drunk when presenting his Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning
Lily Allen suggested Nick Grimshaw was "still hammered" from the BRIT Awards during his hosting of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning. The hungover DJ had spent all night partying with pal Harry Styles, firstly attending the awards show before heading to the Warner music after-party at The Savoy Hotel and the Universal bash at Soho House. Nick and Harry emerged from the DJ's house at 6am and jumped in a cab to the Radio 1 studio.
Grimshaw had managed to change into a comfortable t-shirt and jeans, though Harry was still wearing his party tuxedo from the evening before. As the comical show unfolded, Nick's pal Lil Allen tweeting him, "You sound hammered still," while one furious Twitter user said, "Having to turn off @R1Breakfast as listening to a drunk harry styles stumble through his performance is too cringey. Sort it out @grimmers." Another said, "Everyone is still very drunk this morning I the Breakfast Show. Please stop slurring your words boys. @grimmers @Harry_Styles."

Harry Styles just turned 19, despite having already experienced more than many 30 year olds (a fling with a model, a relationship with an international celebrity, world tours, and international stardom) and just in case he hadn't already been privy to a £100 strip tease from a stripper, Nick Grimshaw was on hand at Styles' birthday celebrations to sort that out, the Daily Mail reports.
Described by the Mail as a 'boozy party', Styles and pals Grimshaw, Miquita Oliver and Pixie Geldof (among 35 others) enjoyed plenty of beer, wine, margaritas, Jagerbombs and the obligatory celebratory champagne. Sometime during the evening a stripper was brought out for a £100 ten-minute strip tease especially for the birthday boy.
A source told the Mail that: "Nick seemed pretty pleased with himself when the stripper started her routine. He found it hilarious. Harry seemed embarrassed and didn't know where to look, but he took it in good spirit." But when Harry himself spoke of the situation to The Sun, he seemed to look upon the whole event more favourably, saying "I was in stitches, it was really funny... unfortunately there was a no nudity policy in the bar."
What is it about London's Groucho Club that has celebrities returning week-in-week-out? Harry Styles, the youngest member of One Direction, turns 19-years-old today (January 31, 2013) and chose London's hippest venue as the place to party with ex-girlfriends Caroline Flack and Cara Devalinge and pals James Corden and Nick Grimshaw on Thursday evening. The boys had started the evening at a Mexican restaurant, but all roads led to London's most infamous hangout - an unassuming members' club in the heart of London's Soho district.
Caroline Flack turned up wearing a red fur jacket and some futuristic heels, while Cara opted for leather trousers and a striped jacket following an appearance at Burberry's bash at their flagship store in Regent Street. Harry and Caroline have been close since they dated for three-months when he was 17, with the Xtra Factor presenter describing him as "brilliant and so much fun." On Thursday, Styles opted for a weird looking shiny blazer, while Radio 1 breakfast DJ Grimshaw went for a fitted black jacket. In all fairness, Corden was probably the best dressed of the guys, in jeans, a shirt and smart sweater.
Nick Grimshaw’s done his part, but you couldn’t say that about the rest of his BBC Radio One colleagues after the station reported a drop of around 500,000 listeners in the final three months of last year, the station losing ground on BBC Radio Two which boasted its highest-ever weekly average of 15 million for the three month period.
With long standing breakfast show host Chris Moyles stepping down last year, as part of the BBC’s drive to bring in younger presenters to appeal to their youth-targeted demographic, many expected Grimshaw’s arrival to herald a sharp downturn in listening figures for the flagship show. However, ‘Grimmy’ has only lost around 40,000 pairs of ears since taking over, a mere drop in the ocean given that he’s commanding average numbers of 6.7 million weekly listeners. In terms of who the BBC were targeting too, he’s done very well indeed; according to The Guardian, the show had attracted on average 3.43 million weekly 15 to 24 year-olds in the previous quarter, up almost quarter of a million on the three month period before that.
However, the overall figures don’t make for anything quite so palatable, with Radio One as a whole dropping to an average of 11.1 million listeners weekly, compared to 11.7 million in the third quarter of 2012. Good news for the corporation lay elsewhere, though, with BBC 6music boosting its audience by almost a third year-on-year, the alternative music station boasting an average weekly audience of 1.9 million listeners.
Radio 1 has lost over half a million listeners over the past year, and more since Chris Moyles left the station to explore pastures new. Replacing him with big haired Nick Grimshaw seemed like a great idea in efforts to draw in younger audiences, but it has proven to be a terrible mistake as the station's listenership has dropped enormously, reports the Guardian.
When it comes to most media aiming for young audiences is the way to go. However, when it comes to radio, and particularly morning radio, it just isn't the way to go. Chris Moyles was a great host for a long time, but after ten years any job can begin to feel stale. It was certainly the right time for him and his team to leave, but absolutely the wrong time for Nick Grimshaw to take up the position. Having begun his career on T4, the young presenter soon moved to Radio 1 and has worked with the station since 2007. In September 2012 he officially took over Moyle's show.
Having lost over a million since the same time in 2011, Grimshaw also lost a further 40,000 from Moyle's final month to his first. However, while viewing figures from the younger audience of 15-24 have risen, overall they have dropped.
Err...what happened to Daisy Lowe at the Tommy Hilfiger and Esquire after-party held at The Zetter Townhouse in London on Monday (January 7, 2013)? Wearing a classic leather jacket, floral print top and biker boots, the model looked a little confused and appeared to be acting strangely. Perhaps she was just a little excited (or nervous) to run into her ex-boyfriend Matt Smith, who was also in attendance. Nevertheless, Daisy, 23, tried out her skills at entertaining the star-studded crowd on the decks before carrying on partying with her fellow celebrities.
The Doctor himself was looking pretty dapper in a long winter coat, paisley scarf, black trousers and heavy boots. His close friend Benedict Cumberbatch also attended the bash, as did Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood and his new wife Sally Humphreys. The couple tied the knot two-weeks ago in a ceremony at London's Dorchester Hotel. Sally, 34, beamed with delight as she arrived on the arm of her 65-year-old husband wearing a cream dress and glittery heels. Elsewhere, the omnipresent Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw decided on a night on the tiles despite his early morning wake-up call, and was pictured with Kate Moss' rocker husband Jamie Hince. Grimshaw opted for a well-tailored suit, though looked in need of a serious haircut.
Swift has apparently been telling friends that she is is really falling for the boy band member, and even used the L word once or twice whilst talking about him. According to Heat, Swift has just returned home from Britain after spending a romantic few days with Styles in Cheshire, and once she met up with her friends she apparently started gushing with soppy, loved up tidbits about their blossoming love life.
According to the magazine, Swift is quoted as saying “It's crazy. He's fantastic. I love him. He just puts you at ease. He's the embodiment of youthful energy. It's really inspiring. He's opening my mind to so many thoughts. Our relationship doesn't feel like a weight.”

Ah, it's that time of year again, when the London's fashion glitterati descend on The Savoy Hotel to try outdo each other with their designer dresses, towering heels and flashy bags. Actually, it was a little more elegant than that this year, with some of the leading names in British fashion turning out for annual event. Sure, that Nick Grimshaw guy was there, but he kind of had to be given that he was hosting.
The evening saw 14 awards presented to leading figures in fashion, with Stella Mccartney scooping the top accolade of Designer of the Year. Outstanding Achievement went to Manolo Blahnik for his contribution to fashion, while Jonathan Saunders won the Emerging Talent (Menswear) Award (presented by Ronnie Wood). So that's the boring ones out of the way: who won the exciting stuff? Model of the Year went to the new darling of British fashion Cara Delevingne, who pretty much dominated the fashion stakes on the evening too. The 20-year-old wore a metallic green shift dress by Burberry with silver peep-toe heels. It was big night for the Burberry star, who graced the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November. She was joined by her close pal Rita Ora, who opted for an aqua gown by Vivienne Westwood before later dressing down with cream trousers and knitted top. Delevingne became the face of the fashion house in 2010 though has also appeared in high profile campaigns for H&M, Zara and Chanel. She appeared in a huge 31 shows at London Fashion Week in September, modelling for the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi and Stella McCartney.
Vernon Kay and Reggie Yates have both dropped the bombshell that they will be leaving Radio One at the end of the year.
It’s all change up there at Radio One Towers, what with long-standing Breakfast Show host Chris Moyles making way for Nick Grimshaw in the coveted morning slot and now, just a few months down the line, Vernon’s weekend show will be up for grabs, and Reggie’s Chart show will now be hosted by Jameela Jamil.
According to The Sun, 38 year-old Vernon’s decision to leave his hosting duties was spurred on by a desire to spend more time with his family, now that his daughters are at school. “I’ve had an incredible nine-and-a-half years at Radio 1 that has exceeded all of my expectations, it has been a fabulous experience and I’ve loved the weekends I have spent with my listeners,” he said in a statement about his decision to leave. “However, when I was offered a contract extension I thought long and hard, but after 12 years of working weekends with CBBC, T4 and Radio 1, I felt it was the right time to leave as the girls are now both in school so weekends are more precious than ever.”

Dr Fox! Foxy! Remember him? Well, he's back and nastier than ever, blasting Nick Grimshaw for calling Robbie Williams "irrelevant" earlier this week. Grimshaw, who took over Chris Moyles' breakfast show on Radio 1, told 5 News that his station had deliberately omitted Robbie's new track Candy.
"I don't know if he's now for a Radio 1 audience. I've never listened to a Robbie Williams song, but I really like him.To 13 and 14-year-olds, he's not relevant - they've got One Direction. I liked Take That when I was little, but I'm not little anymore." Grimshaw had a fair point - most 13 and 14 year olds would take most X Factor winners over Robbie - though in a potential sign of how relevant Radio 1 are, Robbie's 'Candy' became his latest No.1 on Sunday. Without the help of Grimshaw's station, the single moved over 130,000 copies last week to storm the charts. Magic Breakfast presenter Neil Fox stuck the boot in on Tuesday morning, tweeting, "Brainless @grimmers @R1Breakfast claims @robbiewilliams is too old & irrelevant for today's teenagers! Some advice. Stop being a total nob." Though we'd never endorse Grimshaw as a beacon of new music, we're struggling to remember a time when Fox was considered particularly relevant either. Fox also told Radio Today, "I'm not the voice of youth but Radio 1 are crazy for saying they're not playing his (Robbie's) new song. He'll still be popular when One Direction have split up."
Grimshaw had previously taken up Radio 1's 10pm-midnight slot, once occupied by John Peel.

Robbie Williams managed to hit the top spot in this week's singles charts, with his latest song 'Candy', but despite the week being obviously filled with celebrations for his first number one in eight years, he has also come under great criticism.
Radio 1 chose to elide 'Candy' from its playlists, deeming it 'irrelevant', according to Entertainmentwise. Nick Grimshaw agreed with the station, but also defended the singer. "To 13 and 14-year-olds he's not relevant... they've got One Direction. I liked Take That when I was little, but I'm not little anymore," he said. "I don't know if he's now for a Radio 1 audience. I've never listened to a Robbie Williams song but I really like him... I quite like the new song".
In contrast to this, the video for the single sees Robbie literally bashes away old age, as he punches a pensioner. The Telegraph have reported that the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) are not happy about the treatment of the elderly in the video. ''Celebrities should think twice before making ageist comments which seem to imply that pensioners should be treated in a degrading way." Said Dot Gibson, general secretary for the NPC. ''Elder abuse is a serious issue and needs to be tackled rather than seen as a bit of a joke. We need to be uniting the generations, not suggesting that they are different. Pensioners are just young people who grew older.'' Robbie's representative said that he was just playing a role and absolutely does not condone violence to the elderly.

Robbie Williams might be at number one in the UK Top 40 singles chart with ‘Candy’, but Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw thinks the former Take That singer is too old to be relevant to young people any more. His comments come on the back of the news that ‘Candy’ was not deemed appropriate for BBC Radio One’s playlist.
5 News have reported that Nick said “I don't know if he's now for a Radio 1 audience. I've never listened to a Robbie Williams song but I really like him. To 13 and 14-year-olds he's not relevant... they've got One Direction. I liked Take That when I was little, but I'm not little anymore.” Today (November 5, 2012), though, Nick did play Robbie’s new song on his breakfast radio show and said “I quite like the new song” but he doesn’t seem to think that Williams is young enough to connect with the youth of today. Presumably it was all grown-up adults buying the many thousands of copies of ‘Candy’ that took it to number one, making it the fastest selling single by a male artist this year, then?
‘Candy’ was reportedly deemed unsuitable for the Radio One playlist, as it did not connect with the station’s 15 – 29 demographic.

No one throws a Halloween party like Jonathan Ross so it would seem! The great and the good of the celebrity world dressed up in their most unholy gladrags to attend a special party at the television presenter's house. Leading the way was (500 Days) Of Summer actress Chloe Moretz whose dripping black-painted make-up couldn't disguise a beaming smile from the teen star. Jamie Hince and Kate Moss were also in attendance, the musician and the model pulling off a damn fine look as Gomez and Morticia Addams from The Addams Family.

Ex-Radio 1 breakfast presenter Chris Moyles worked on the station since 2004 and has since found success in many other capacities. He has his own show on Channel 4, appeared in X Factor: Battle of the Stars, written his autobiography and now he is set to be starring in Jesus Christ Superstar on the West End. His philanthropic works have seen him climb Kilimanjaro and break the world record for longest radio show at 52.5 hours, raising over £2m. Despite all of this apparent talent, and all he has done for Radio 1, the final Chris Moyles Show brought in the lowest audience figure in his entire career with the station.
Chris Moyles has been replaced by Nick Grimshaw, who began his career on T4 (which will be cancelled in January), in order for Moyles to be able to explore the potential for his career further, on stage. The Standard reports that in Moyles' final show his figures were lower than BBC Radio 4's Today Programme that airs at the same time. 6.73million listeners tuned in to Radio 1, while the Radio 4 achieved an impressive 6.94 million. As yet we're unsure whether this is a sign that the listeners are becoming inherently higher brow, or whether everyone was just bored of the northern joker.
Radio figures seem to be falling across the board, so Radio 4 is really beating the odds. Even Chris Evans' breakfast show on Radio 2, which is the most listened to show in the UK, has lost almost half a million listeners over the past 6 months. With the figures for Moyles' reaching an all time low, no doubt bosses are overjoyed with their decision to mix it up with the northern hipster, Grimshaw.
Was Chris Moyles’ on-air fatigue rubbing off on his listeners when he left Radio One? Today (October 25, 2012), Radio Times have reported that Moyles’ listener figures were at an all-time low when he left his breakfast show on the station last month. The figures, published by RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research), revealed that Moyles’ audience had dropped from a one-time high of 8 million listeners, to 6.73 million.
The Radio 4 Today show beat Moyles' breakfast show, with an average audience of 6.94 million between July and September. Moyles' audience had dropped by another 200,000 since the figures were last recorded and made for the lowest audience for the show, since the start of 2006. When Chris Moyles left the station, after an eight year stint, he was replaced by Nick Grimshaw. Grimshaw is 11 years younger than Moyles and it’s reported that Radio One’s controller, Ben Cooper, felt under pressure to regain a more youthful audience for the show. We won’t know how well Grimshaw’s doing until the New Year, when the audience figures for his first quarter in the job will have been published.
Harry Styles’ house just got a hell of a lot bigger. In fact, the pop heartthrob has swapped his swanky East End flat for a huge £3 million mansion in North London. The superstar – whose band is now worth a staggering £100 million – decided to part with a chunk of his earnings to snap up the 2,300sq ft property.
The four bedroomed pad features on property website primelocation.com and seems to boast a huge living space, with large south-west facing garden. We couldn’t help but notice the luxury swimming pool and lounge chairs either! Inside, there are three bathrooms and three reception rooms. The 18-year-old is known to have a passion for fast cars, and there is spaces for four vehicles as well as a double car lift! One insider close to Styles told the Daily Mirror, “A lot of Harry’s friends live in Primrose Hill and Belsize Park, so he wanted to move closer to them…The new house is enormous compared to his old flat…It has four bedrooms and as many bathrooms, as well as a few huge, open-plan living areas. It’s the perfect party pad.”
The boy-band star reportedly chose the property to be closer to one of his close friends, DJ Nick Grimshaw, who lives nearby.
Nick Grimshaw made his debut in the Radio 1 breakfast slot on Monday morning (September 24, 2012) and went down particularly well with the younger generation, it seems. Though the Manchester-born DJ was a surprise choice to take over from Chris Moyles, his penchant for playing contemporary rock and pop records instead of relying on too much on-air chatter appeared to get the thumbs up from younger listeners.
One man who has never hidden his desire to host the breakfast show is fellow Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, who may have felt a little hard done by not to snag the coveted spot. In a recent interview, he told Digital Spy, “In 2007 [a paper] printed that Moyles was being sacked and I was gonna take over. Of course it wasn't true, but I think if that had happened then I would have been really pissed off if I hadn't got the show, because I was next in line for it.” When pushed as to whether he would have taken the role now, Mills seemed a little unconvincing, saying, “I don't think I would wanna do it now, I honestly don't. I think the time has gone. I think there was a time period of about two, three, four years when I would have been bang up for it - that time is not now.” Hmm. Nevertheless, Mills seems genuinely pleased for Grimshaw, saying, “Someone like Grimmy is what they need. It makes a statement. I'm just pleased to still be on there and I love it so much still, but do I think I've missed the boat on this one? Not really.”One listener on Twitter said of Nick’s first show, “Great so far, looking forward to listening rest of the week!”, though another scarily asked the DJ, “I’m miserable let me be your friend so i can be happy please I bet you”.
Harry Styles, Pixie Geldof, Henry Holland, Annie Mac and Example gathered in London on Thursday (September 20, 2012) following Nick Grimshaw’s final Radio 1 late night show. Grimshaw is replacing Chris Moyles on the coveted breakfast show, and he was joined by friends at the Groucho Club.
Though most of the group partied until the early hours, the scrappy young Harry Styles left early in a Range Rover. To be fair to the One Direction singer, he’s had a pretty busy week attending the various shows at London Fashion Week. He took up a front row seat for the Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 catwalk collection, though hardly sounded specialist on the subject of women’s fashion when quizzed by the Press Association. “I like coats and it's cold so they always have to wear coats, so it's great,” he said, adding, “I thought the show was great. I liked the colours - they're not too much, they're quite subtle. I think their winter stuff's wicked.” So he basically likes the coats and the colours.
Styles’ model girlfriend Cara Delevingne was amongst the models showcasing Burberry’s new collection this year.
