Nick Cannon finds fatherhood "amazing".

The 'America's Got Talent' host and wife Mariah Carey became parents to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe in April and the presenter is loving every minute of being a dad.

He said: "There is no 'worst' part at all. Everything is amazing about fatherhood. The best part is when they communicate with you and they recognise you. It's the best."

While Nick enjoys his work, he admits he hadn't realised how difficult he would find going out without the twins and his 41-year-old wife.

He told America's OK! magazine: "It's the toughest thing in the world - leaving my family in general, not just my children, but my wife.

"Knowing that she is there with them being mommy, I don't want to miss any of those moments!"

Nick is impressed with Mariah's weight loss since giving birth and even believes she will be able to shed the pounds to regain the figure she had when she was 20 years old.

He said: "She is getting it off. She is about to be 1990 again!"
