Canadian funnywoman Nia Vardalos has no regrets about her defunct TV series MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE.

Vardalos' wrote and starred in 2002 surprise hit My Big Fat Greek Wedding and went on to star in the CBS spin-off TV comedy with the film's cast - except John Corbett.

After poor reviews and poor ratings, CBS pulled the plug on the show last year (03).

Vardalos says, "I don't have any regrets about doing it, even though it didn't do well in the ratings.

"I didn't get a chance to write it, but I don't want to disparage the efforts of the writers. We all tried out best and I loved my cast."
