Dream Catch Me
Newton Faulkner releases his second single 'Dream Catch Me' via download on July 9th and physical release on July 16th through Ugly Truth Records.
'Dream Catch Me' is taken from Newton Faulkner's debut album, 'Hand Built By Robots' which comes out a week after the single on July 23rd 2007. 'Dream Catch Me' is a simply beautiful stripped-down anthem-in-waiting. The track showcases not only Newton's fantastic vocals but also his wistful and intelligent lyrics and highlights his outstanding abilities as a guitarist.
After two years of below-the-radar gigging and recording Newton rapidly became one of 2006's DIY success stories with his first two EP's selling out their limited run of 3000 copies and reaching No 1 on the Amazon singles chart. Newton's Word-of-Mouth growth has seen his Myspace garner an incredible 250,000 plays in the last year as his sell-out headline dates and support slots gathered new fans and rave reviews alike.
Buzz on Newton started as he began supporting the likes of cult artists Donovan Frankenreiter and the John Butler Trio which led on to major tours with Paolo Nutini and James Morrison. He also earned the standing ovation of the night at one of Jo Whiley's recent Little Noise gigs (sharing the Union Chapel stage with the likes of Coldplay's Chris Martin, Lily Allen & The Automatic).
'Dream Catch Me' follows up Newton's last single 'I Need Something' which propelled him on to the Radio 1 playlist for the first time.
The first single from Interpol's eagerly anticipated sixth studio album 'The Rover' has dropped alongside a video.
'Jumpsuit' is just one of two singles, including 'Nico and the Niners', released ahead of Twenty One Pilots' latest album 'Trench'.
They unveiled a new video showing the making of the record.
