Zoolander 2 To Star Will Ferrell And Jonah Hill
ZOOLANDER 2 starring BEN STILLER could hit the big-screen in 2012 after a script for the new movie was completed, reports MTV News. It's been nine years since the original film was released, and now JUSTIN THEROUX has finished work on the screen-play for the sequel, co-writing it with Stiller himself.
Theroux was promoting his medieval comedy 'Your Highness' at the New York Comic Convention, when he spoke to MTV about Zoolander 2, saying, "The script is in good shape right now. I'm feeling very optimistic about it. We're doing a few little tweaks before we submit it, but I'm very hopeful that I'm going to be working on that soon". Theroux also confirmed that the screenplay has a role for the return of WILL FERELL'S character 'Mugutu' and added that he hoped JONAH HILL would play a new character, saying, "There are a couple new villains that step onto the stage, which we are all very happy about. And yes, Jonah is the inspiration for one of them".
Theroux also revealed details of the film's plot, saying that the movie will begin with Zoolander and his rival-turned-friend Hansel, played by OWEN WILSON, feeling depressed, adding, "We start off with them in a pretty bad place. They're about to ring 40's bell. They have to claw their way back into the fashion industry in some way or another".
