Zoe Saldana - Zoe Saldana likes Benedict's sexy voice
Zoe Saldana says her 'Star Trek Into Darkness' co-star Benedict Cumberbatch's voice is so deep it's as sexy as late soul legend Barry White's.
Zoe Saldana thinks Benedict Cumberbatch's voice is as sexy as Barry White's.
The 34-year-old actress watched the new 60-second trailer for 'Star Trek Into Darkness' - in which she reprises her role as Nyota Uhura - and she couldn't help but get slightly excited by her co-star's deep tone.
Speaking about the clip - which shows Benedict making a threatening speech as his villainous character, thought to be Khan - Zoe said: ''I emailed the whole gang (after watching it). I was like, 'Benedict, your voice sounds better than Barry White's.' I'm sure I made him blush.''
Barry - who died in 2003 - was given the nickname 'The Walrus of Love' because of his deep bass voice and the aphrodisiac-like effect his songs, which include 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe', had on women.
Benedict, 36, has also watched the trailer and admits the short teaser has made him very excited to see director J.J. Abrams' finished film in May.
Speaking at the Children's Defense Fund's Beat the Odds gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday night (06.12.12), he said: ''My [talent] agency was just wetting themselves. They were ringing me up and sending me emails. It's really exciting. I, like everyone else, feel teased. I can't wait to see the whole film now.''
