Zayn Malik's Twitter Page Fires Back Into Action!
The One Direction singer Zayn Malik has re-joined social networking site Twitter after a short break due to abuse, reports The Metro.
The singer had lasted a mere 24 hours away from the micro blogging site. He had pinned his initial Twitter exodus on the amount of abuse he got, but he's over that now and happily tweeting away. The news will come as a relief to the fans that weren't feeding him online slurs, and they'll be comfortable in the knowledge that they can see what the teenager's up to in no more than 140 characters. 'Sorry, I was getting some abuse on twitter but I dont want to let my fans down. So I am back!! :) x' he tweeted, garnering an incredible 650,000 new followers within an hour of his return.
The band is very active on Twitter, and recently excited fans with the promise of an announcement to be made tonight. "Guys as you know we've been in studio a lot lately...Big announcement coming Thursday night! Can't wait to tell you all!" tweeted Niall Horan. He continued to tease his followers by saying "Goodmorning! Today is an exciting day for a couple of reasons! Can't wait!" Considering nothings been announced so far, we'll just have to wait with bated bread to see what the British-Irish boy band, formed on ITV's X-Factor have to tell us.
