Zach Galifianakis: Punching Babies Integral To Winning Elections
When it comes to Galifianakis having designs on a political career of his own, though, it's a pretty resounding 'no.' "I'm not versed enough in constitutional law to run for office," he explains, before adding "I'd have to go back to school or something. Plus, I'm not willing to punch a baby in the face to win an election, which is pretty much required these days." It's a reference to a scene in the movie, in which Congressman Cam Brady, played by Will Ferrell, takes a swing at Marty Huggins, played by Zach, but accidentally hits a baby.
The Campaign, which was released on August 4 in the US is a comic tale of two CEOs trying to oust their long-term congressman Cam Brady, by entering a rival candidate. That man is Marty Huggins, the director of the local tourist centre.
