Young Jeezy Takes Us Top Spot As Ti Holds On

Young Jeezy has claimed his second US number one album while TI has retained the top spot in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

The Recession, Young Jeezy's new album, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 to hold off the challenge of The Block, the first album by New Kids On The Block in 14 years.

Last week's number one, Slipknot's All Hope is Gone, dropped to fifth while LAX by the Game, fell one place to third.

Underoath and Chris Tomlin claimed the other new entries in the top ten, debuting at eight and nine, respectively.

The summit of the singles chart, meanwhile, remained largely the same, with TI's Whatever You Like and Disturbia by Rihanna holding the top two spots.

Pink's new single So What, performed at the MTV Video Music awards last weekend, climbed six places to third.
