Norwegian popstars Ylvis - who shot to fame after their music video 'The Fox' achieved over 200 million views on YouTube - have put Miley Cyrus' success down to controversy.
Ylvis believe Miley Cyrus will ''kill'' her career if she stops the controversial on-stage stunts.
The Norwegian popstars - who shot to international fame after their music video 'The Fox' achieved over 200 million views on YouTube - put 20-year-old Miley's success down to her attention-seeking antics.
The comedians turned pop duo - made up of brothers, Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker - performed alongside the 'Wrecking Ball' singer at this year's EMA's where she lit a suspicious looking cigarette on stage during her acceptance speech.
Speaking exclusively to BANG showbiz about the singer's recent performances, Vegard said: ''Poor girl, she has to. Every other journalist on the red carpet asked us, 'What do you think she's going to do this year to provoke?' I mean if she doesn't do anything it's going to kill her.''
He joked: ''It will probably kill her anyway.''
In spite of the 'We Can't Stop' singer's over the top performances, the brothers admitted they admired Miley's natural talent after hearing her perform at the award show on Saturday night (9.11.13) but joked about her revealing fashion choices.
Bard said: ''What was nice was that I was backstage when she did her performance and I think she's like really, really a good singer. She sings really good. She is really, really talented.''
He added: ''In all this fuss you know you forget that there is a reason that she is where she is today... and that's her clothes.''
