Yearwood Goes Back To School For Christmas Special

Country star TRISHA YEARWOOD went back to her old school to tape a Christmas TV special, which will air in America next week (23Dec09).
The singer hosted and performed at Christmas At Belmont, which was held at Belmont University's renowned music school in Tennessee - the academy she attended before becoming one of country music's leading ladies.
Belmont students made up the band and choir, which joined Yearwood onstage.
She says, "It was great to be back at my alma mater. I loved getting a chance to hang out with the students and feel their enthusiasm for music. It was the perfect way to ring in the holidays."
