Wyman Told Ex He Cheated While She Lay In Hospital

ROLLING STONES rocker BILL WYMAN confessed to wife MANDY SMITH that he had cheated on her - as she lay close to death in hospital.
The musician wed Smith in 1989 but split two months later - and she claims Wyman poured out the secret of his affair when she later fell ill from a digestive disorder.
She was rushed to hospital and put on a drip, but when Wyman visited he allegedly admitted he had been unfaithful.
Smith says, "I was told I had one day to live when I was taken into hospital.
"I had what turned out to be a digestive disorder and compromised immune system which saw my weight drop to five and a half stone.
"I was fed liquids on a drip to keep me alive. Bill came to the hospital and admitted he'd just cheated on me on tour. That's why the marriage ended. I would have stayed with him otherwise; I wanted the marriage to work.
"He was quite blase about admitting his infidelity, as if he expected I should put up with it. But I couldn't live like that."
