Wyclef Jean Watches Wife Graduate
Rapper Wyclef Jean beamed with pride on Friday (18May12) as he watched his wife graduate from a university in New Jersey.
The former Fugees star applauded and cheered as designer Marie Claudinette collected a degree during Montclair State University's commencement ceremony at the Izod Center, and he uploaded a brief film clip of the celebrations to his Twitter.com page.
Jean was particularly proud of his spouse for representing their native country on Haitian Flag Day.
In a tweet accompanying the video, he writes, "I'm at Montclair University Commencement watching Wifey graduate! And it's Haitian Flag Day and she is Haitian".
However, the hip-hop star failed to reveal what course Marie Claudienette had graduated from.
