Wretch 32 Joins V Festival Line-up

Wretch 32, The Feeling, Stooshe and Beverley Knight have been added to the line-up of the Virgin Media V Festival.

The acts join a host of stars including The Killers, Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher who will perform at the festival in August, and Wretch admits he is delighted to be back on the bill after appearing for the first time in 2011.

He said: ''I'm buzzing to be back at V Festival again this year. Last year was big, and I'll be looking to top it this year by performing my new tracks to the V crowd. I will also be looking to get a little meet with Nicki Minaj, if I'm lucky!''

Beverley Knight added she was glad to be invited back after spending the last few years as a visitor rather than a performer.

She said: ''It has been a while so I am chuffed to be back on stage at V this year. I have spent the last few years enjoying all the action as a punter. This year it's time to do what I do best - and that's rocking a crowd!''

Additional tickets for the event, which runs on August 18 and 19 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire, will be available on April 27 at 9am.
