Wrestler The Great Khali Undergoes Surgery To Remove Tumour
27 July 2012The Indian sportsman, real name Dalip Singh, went under the knife at Upmc Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday (25Jul12) after doctors found a growth on his pituitary gland.
Medics believe the tumour caused Singh to produce excessive amounts of growth hormone, resulting in his towering seven foot, one inch (2.16 metre) stature.
The 2006 World Heavyweight Champion is expected to be discharged over the weekend (28-29Jul12).
