The world's oldest woman has died in Brazil, aged 114.
Maria Gomes Valentim, who was born in 1896, was just weeks away from celebrating what would have been her 115th birthday.
She died of pneumonia.
Georgia native Besse Cooper, who is also 114, regains her title as the world's oldest person. She briefly held it until Guinness World Records experts discovered Valentim was months older.
