Former WONDER STUFF star MARTIN GILKS died yesterday (03APR06) after suffering internal injuries in a London motorcycle accident on Sunday (02ARR06). He was 41. The SIZE OF A COW drummer shot to fame in the early 1990s and enjoyed later success working behind the scenes with rock bands including Reef and A HUNDRED REASONS. A spokesman for his company Furtive says, "He was greatly loved by many and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends." Gilks is survived by a son and a daughter.
